studioKAP have an ongoing relationship with the urban design and landscape architecture firm Land Use Consultants. In 2008 Land Use were commissioned by Orkney Island Council to prepare a new Urban Plan for Kirkwall and as part of their team we in turn delivered the architectural input to this document. Our role was to address not only specifically architectural issues such as design guidance but also to offer a different perspective on the collective approach to the Urban Plan as a whole. We are about to progress a similar project with Land Use Consultants in Aviemore
