Moore Clark Studio

Timber framed windows, stone walls and a slate roof at an architect-designed artist’s studio in Balloch, Scotland.jpg

A new painting studio is created above an existing kitchen for an artist with a growing family. The studio is therefore a place of work as well as a retreat away from domestic responsibilities.

Two new decks of accommodation are formed for messy and clean activities respectively overlooking a new dining space with a direct link to mature gardens and landscape; a key source of inspiration for the artist.
