Our remodelling of this striking Victorian villa with an unforgettable view and proximity to the sea, includes a ground floor space which will become the new spatial and social centre of gravity of the house. On three sides, it draws sunlight and views inside in a variety of ways, while its fourth side opens into the interior world of kitchen, sitting and reception.
Being inside this new space is all about a heightened awareness of those outside qualities and the ability to experience them through differently-designed openings. It will capture a wonderful moment of transparency looking onto the private sunny courtyard in one direction and simultaneously towards the sea view in the other.
