Architect designed living room in Glasgow

We are delighted that our 2003 steadings conversion in Auchoish is one of the nine case studies included in John Brennan’s new book, ‘Scotland’s Rural Home’. An architect and academic John investigates the timeless activity of creating a home in the countryside.

John examines how we breathed new architectural life into the building’s old bones by “breaking free of a supposed traditional style and form.” Our friend and former colleague, Rod Kemsley led this project with Tilo Einert.

The book is available online, in most stores and the RIAS bookshop, but a good deal is to be had at Blackwells.
