Do you sometimes look back on something and realise now how much better it would have been, had more thought been put into it at the time?

To an extent we all do. Buildings need time to be properly designed in order that complexities can be resolved before going on site. But also in order that all those small details which make such a difference after you move in, are thought through and resolved with care and skill.

This is time well spent and in our experience as architects, it is what separates a good building from a good design.
