What a difference a bay makes

What a difference a bay makes

We refine our designs as we progress through a project’s development. This applies particularly to important details which are crucial to the overall experience of a space. One example is this recently completed bay window.

The two perspective sketches drawn several months apart reveal how the bay window structure became less chunky and the glazing mullions more delicate as we progressed it.

In the final build there are no mullions at all, simply a glass-to-glass connection.  By then convinced that this would enhance the space and its connection to the garden, our clients now agree with us that this was the right decision.
