Garden Extension

Clarendon_Exterior_V3.jpg

Although modest in size, this tiny addition to a very grand, converted Edinburgh Victorian Townhouse punches well above its architectural weight. Two delightful inter-connected wood-lined spaces draw the beautiful existing courtyard garden into the experiences of family cooking and dining by a careful composition of solid and glazed walls and roofs. It also provides the final element in a memorable spatial sequence beginning on the public pavement, then descending a full storey through the garden apartment to the most private and tranquil of courtyard gardens.
